Virginia Trial Lawyers Association offers a number of ways to reach its members: advertising, exhibiting at seminars and Annual Convention, or direct mail to members.

Law Letter

First and most basic of VTLA publications is our Law Letter which contains Association news as well as digests of state and federal court opinions.

Printing Specifications
Ads must be in black/white and camera ready. Ads needing typesetting will be billed an additional 10%. Use 133-line screen for halftones/art. Material cannot be returned.

The Journal

A quarterly magazine publication, The Journal features articles of special interest to trial practice. It is not a Law Review, but rather a more substantive, hands-on approach to issues. The Journal has found a relatively long shelf life and high readership.

VTLA Directory of Members and Services

Our Directory of Members and Services is an annual publication which features a listing of all our members (alphabetically and geographically), a listing of judiciary, a listing of specialty practice areas, fax numbers, e-mail addresses, and advertising related to members. This is published each summer.

Mailing List Rental

Virginia Trial Lawyers Association will rent its membership list periodically for approved uses. Material for which the labels will be used must be sent for approval in advance of a purchase order.

There are two options available: (1) VTLA attorney and paralegal membership exclusively; (2) entire database, including actual members as well as interested attorneys. Names may be rented as labels only: 4-up Cheshire labels at 10 cents per name, or self-adhesive labels at 15 cents per name.
